Vocational Rehabilitation Services And Disability Assistance

Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP)
The goal of the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange hosted by AzTAP is to put Assistive Technology (AT), adapted equipment or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) that is not currently being used into the hands of someone who can benefit from it. The Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange is primarily for residents of Arizona, although we do accept entries from other states. The program is designed to facilitate equipment/device exchange (s) between individuals and is not for the use of for profit vendors or distributors to sell equipment.

California Veterans Assistance Foundation, Inc., VAF
The VAF is a nonprofit corporation that was established January 1994 to operate transitional housing programs for military veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The VAF is comprised of veterans who are nationally recognized as experts on the issues of homelessness among veterans and are dedicated to veteran’s advocacy. The VAF currently operates three of these programs throughout the State of Wisconsin and has also branched out into the State of California. Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs

Kentucky was one of the first states funded under the Tech Act of 1988, which has been replaced by the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended in 2004, (P.L. 108-364). South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Office of Veterans’ Affairs shall assist all ex-service personnel, regardless of wars in which their service may have been rendered, in filing, presenting and prosecuting to final determination all claims which they have for money compensation, hospitalization, training and insurance benefits under the terms of federal legislation. These services are extended to eligible dependents, including parents, widows, children and orphans of ex-service personnel. The Office administers the Free Tuition Program for certain war Veterans’ children. It also must provide administrative support for the Veterans’ Trust Fund Board of Trustees. In addition, the Office is mandated to provide training for the forty six County Veterans’ Affairs Officers.

Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council

West Virginia Aging & Disability Resource Centers
In 2003 the U. S. Wyoming Institute for Disabilities
The mission of the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) is to assist individuals with developmental and other disabilities and their families by promoting and supporting full community inclusion, community membership, independence, productivity and social participation. WIND provides early intervention activities, training and technical assistance to professionals, research on disability issues and is home to the state assistive technology program and accessible instructional material coordinating center.
