Wheelchair Van Rentals

Vantastic Mobility Sales is now offering wheelchair and scooter accessible van rentals. We offer both side and rear-entry conversions to accommodate your accessibility needs. At this time we are offering rental vans for local use within a 100-mile radius of Monroe, NC. We will be adding long-distance rentals in the near future.

Our rentals are great for day trips to the grocery store, doctors office, special occasion, family gatherings, or just to get out and enjoy the city! Renting with us will help save you money from relying on costly non-emergency medical transport providers and give you the freedom to not only to get to your appointments on-time but also to enjoy the rest of your day after your appointment. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rentals at affordable rates. Due to high demand, we highly recommend reserving your vehicle a minimum of 48- hours in advance to ensure availability. Same day rentals may be available however, we cannot guarantee availability as our rentals or based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Daily: $120 per day

Weekend: $230

Weekly: $90 per day

Monthly: $80 per day

Need Help Selecting the Right Wheelchair Van Rental?

What you will need when calling to book a reservation.

• Valid Driver's License for all drivers.

• Insurance Card complete with agent's name and contact info.

• Pick up dates, times and location if you choose to have it delivered.

• Debit card or major credit card to hold the reservation.

Knowing the dimensions of your wheelchair or scooter will help you figure out which van is right for you.

When calling be sure to have these measurements at hand:

Height: Measure from the floor to the top of the wheelchair user's head while sitting in their chair or scooter.

Length: Measure the wheelchair or scooter from front to back, taking into account the user's feet and footrests, baskets, medical equipment, and any other protrusions.

Width: Measure the wheelchair from side to side at the widest point, paying attention to arm rests or other protrusions above floor level.

Weight: What is the combined weight of the wheelchair or scooter and the user?

• How many passengers will you have?

• Will you need extra storage space?

• Is there additional medical equipment?

There are quite a few options when selecting a Wheelchair Accessable Van, a Side-Entry Lowered-Floor Conversion will typically meet all your needs.

Specialty Equipment Modification Request:

Hand Controls, Spinner Knobs, Left-foot Accelerators, and 6-way Driver or Passenger Transfer Seats can be added for an additional fee. Reservations should be made 7-14 days in advance to ensure availability and proper equipment installation for your rental.

*Driver training certificate or/ endorsement on the operator's drivers license is required for rentals equipped with hand controls and left-foot accelerators.
